Strategy in Action course

Strategy in Action course cohort

In the increasingly turbulent, competitive, and complex environments that characterise contemporary organisations, leaders need to go beyond the traditional approach to strategic planning. Analysis and planning are important, but synthesis, insight, and innovation are critical to delivering better strategy. Strategy in Action addresses these imperatives.

Strategy in Action is a five-day course that integrates traditional strategic management skills with new concepts and tools from the disciplines of innovation and design. The course will give you a clear understanding of customer value propositions and how these are the foundation of better strategy. It will also demonstrate how the customer value proposition must be embedded in a system of value creation and value capture activities bound together by a clear ‘value logic’.

Your learning and skill development will be reinforced through live case studies and extensive class interaction.

Strategy in Action can also be taken as part of the Graduate Certificate in Executive Leadership (GCEL).

Price: $5540 (inc. GST)

• design a new business model, and reverse design and innovate on an existing business model

• navigate the four stages of strategic conversations – making sense, making choices, making things happen, making changes – and understand how these conversations can be used to enable better strategy
