Linking L&D with organisational strategy
This event is at capacity and registration is closed.
“The fact is that much of the investment and effort that organisations spend on learning is focused on the wrong things.” – MIT Sloan Management Review
Join us for the first event in our Human Capital Leadership event series - Linking L&D with organisational strategy. At this event, we will explore why an organisation’s leadership and talent pipeline should link to its strategic priorities. Human Capital Leadership is an exclusive event series, only open to HR and L&D professionals.
Enjoy a sit-down breakfast as you hear from Dr Terry Fitzsimmons, Lecturer in Leadership at UQ Business School, Steven Asnicar, Director of Urban Global and Diversity Inclusion Australia, and Edwin Trevor-Roberts, CEO of Trevor-Roberts.
Terry and Steven will provide insights into which key characteristics companies and boards value when assessing whether or not candidates are fit for leadership and executive roles.
Edwin will explore the links between these characteristics and organisational growth, and share practical strategies and insights into why certain skills are increasingly critical for career progression.
Together, the speakers will explain why and how these insights should underpin your future L&D strategy.
Attend this event to:
- learn about the in-demand skills organisations need to grow
- gain insight into why these characteristics are increasingly valued today
- explore ways to develop your organisation’s future L&D strategy to align with company priorities
- ask the presenters specific questions during Q&A.
